Education Minister Bennett blames Blue and White leaders for abduction of IDF soldiers, says firing orders were ‘not to shoot.’
Education Minister Naftali Bennett (New Right) on Sunday attacked Blue and White party heads Benny Gantz and Moshe Ya’alon, claiming the abduction of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin during 2014’s Operation Protective Edge was caused by their firing orders.

He noted that the soldiers were “sent to deal with the tunnels” but instructed “not to open fire.”
“Hadar Goldin’s abduction was the result of open-fire orders that Gantz and Ya’alon imposed on IDF soldiers.
